Night Trek? Star watching? Shooting stars? Amazing views?
Monte Tre Pizzi, three peaks 710m high, stands atop the immense valley of the Antonamina River and its small towns far below. Walking along the narrow mountain path surrounded by holm oak trees and mountain maples, with evidence of wolves, fox’s and wild boar, the excitement builds as you get closer to the mountains plateau where you will be watching for shooting stars.
Upon arrival at the plateau you are exposed to a view like no other. The stars, the moon and the immense view from Rocella to Africo, with the Ionian Sea aglow with moonlight is one of a kind and one which memories are made from. To reach this point it is a one hour fairly easy mountain walking trail. However, if you are a thrill seeker, you can scramble up the rocky mountain side to perch yourself on top for an amazing 360 degree view of Southern Italy.
Spend some time here to catch a star, munch on tasty treats and wet your lips on local beverages.
Are you ready for an experience of a life time?
